She obtained a Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD and completed a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Columbia University in New York, NY. With over two decades of clinical experience in sickle cell disease. Dr. Ify is a member of the National Adult Sickle Cell Provider Network and also leads the Transition/Medical Home committee for the South Eastern Regional Genetics Collaborative. Her clinical interests include improving health literacy, adolescent transition and chronic pain management.
She enjoys reading, music and mentoring. Committed to excellence in patient care, Dr. Ify is welcoming new patients with sickle cell disease at the Levine Cancer Institute.
