Dr. Xinming Wang received his Ph.D. from the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 1997. He subsequently entered the State Key Laboratory of Organic Geochemistry (SKLOG) of CAS’s Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry and led a group on volatile organic compounds (VOCs). He is now a professor and associate director of SKLOG. Dr. Wang’s current researches focus on field measurement of atmospheric organics, laboratory chamber study of formation and evolution of organic aerosols and land-atmosphere exchange of trace gases. He has published over 150 articles as an author or co-author in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Wang also serves as an editor of Biogeosciences and a member of Editorial Advisory Board of Atmospheric Environment.
