Prof. Ana Paula Ribeiro

Prof. Dr. Ana Paula Ribeiro is clinician researcher, with Post-Doctoral in progress at the Medical School, University of São Paulo, São Paulo/SP. PhD in Health Sciences from 2013 and Master in Rehabilitation Sciences from 2011 at the University of São Paulo. She is a graduate in Physical Therapy from 2006 and has practice and experience for 10 years as a professor of Orthopedic, Biomechanical and Kinesiologyafter graduation, as well as researcher of the Post-Graduation Program, Heath Sciences and Professor at the Physiotherapy School, University Santo Amaro, SP, Brazil. In 2016, she received a fellowship in the Biomechanic and Rehabilitation Musculoskeletal Laboratory. Currently, she is coordinator and member of Ethics Committee. She has published papers in peer reviewed journals and several book chapters. She is also very active as professor in the Multidisciplinary Residency Program, in Urgency, Emergency and Orthopedic Trauma at the University Santo Amaro. Member of Editorial Board of the Austin Sport Science, Journal of Women Health, Journal of the American Society for Information Science and Technology and Health Sciences Research. Her research interests include areas: orthopedics, sports injuries, running and gait biomechanics, musculoskeletal disorders of the knee, ankle and foot (plantar fasciitis, knee osteoarthritis), and corporal posture and biomechanical changes in pregnant and athletes.
