Prof. Dr. Abdeltif Amrane
Prof. Abdeltif Amrane is a distinguished Professor of Chemical and Environmental Engineering at the University of Rennes, France, and Director of the Technological Institute of Rennes. With more than three decades of academic and research experience, his expertise encompasses environmental engineering, biological treatment processes, advanced oxidation processes, air pollution control, wastewater treatment, and the biodegradation of organic pollutants. He has played leading roles in numerous national and international research projects and maintains extensive collaborations with researchers across Europe, North Africa, and Asia.
Prof. Amrane is an internationally recognized scholar with an outstanding research record, having published more than 640 international journal articles, edited 15 books, secured 45 patents, and supervised or co-supervised over 40 PhD researchers. His work has attracted more than 16,000 Scopus citations with an h-index of 60, reflecting his significant impact on environmental and process engineering research. He is also a member of the Algerian Academy of Science and Technology and continues to contribute actively to advancements in sustainable environmental technologies and industrial process engineering.
