Prof. Dr. Yuhoon Hwang

Prof. Yuhoon Hwang is a Professor in the Department of Environmental Engineering at Seoul National University of Science and Technology, Republic of Korea. He received his B.S. and integrated M.S.–Ph.D. degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from KAIST and later worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Technical University of Denmark. His research focuses on environmental nanotechnology, physicochemical water and wastewater treatment, nanomaterials for water purification, 3D-printed functional materials, adsorption and ion exchange, environmental catalysis, and advanced oxidation processes. He has led a number of national and international research projects and has published extensively in the fields of water treatment and environmental materials. He currently serves in several editorial roles in environmental engineering journals.
